Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Public Library, affiliated with the Misr Society for Culture and Community Development, hosted a ceremony honoring the library’s karate team members following their outstanding success in belt promotion tests, reflecting their dedication and commitment during training. The event highlights the library’s ongoing efforts to support sports activities and foster well-rounded personal development among children and youth.
Ms. Norhan Abdel Salam, Director of Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Public Library, emphasized that the ceremony recognizes the players’ efforts and discipline, noting that the library is committed to offering integrated programs that combine cultural and sports activities, discover young talents, and provide ongoing support. She added that the karate team’s achievements reflect the spirit of perseverance and discipline the library strives to instill.
The team’s technical director, Captain Khaled Salah, praised the athletes for their skill and discipline during the promotion tests, stating that the belt upgrades are a natural result of their hard work and commitment in training. He also highlighted that the upcoming stages will witness even stronger preparation.
The library administration extended heartfelt thanks to Coach Mahmoud Sayed for his continuous efforts in training the players, enhancing their technical and physical skills, and instilling values of commitment and sportsmanship.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of belt promotion certificates in an atmosphere of pride and enthusiasm, reaffirming Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Public Library’s commitment to supporting its champions and continuing on the path of achievement.
