Maadi Public Library, affiliated with the Misr Society for Culture and Community Development, organized the "Little Inventor" workshop on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The workshop is part of the library’s ongoing efforts to offer educational programs that enhance children’s skills and encourage creative thinking and practical innovation.
During the activities, children engaged in hands-on creation of educational toys, including electric cars, flashlights, and fans. These activities helped develop their focus, observation, and problem-solving skills, while also promoting teamwork and boosting self-confidence.
The workshop curriculum included:
A simplified introduction to electronic components
Practical demonstrations of how electronic circuits work
Safe and enjoyable exercises for drawing and building electronic circuits
Engineer Jehan Hammad supervised the "Little Inventor" workshop, providing children with practical, age-appropriate guidance on basic electronics, encouraging learning through direct experimentation.
Ms. Ebtisam Abu Al-Azaim, Acting Head of the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department, explained that this workshop is part of a series of science-focused programs offered by the library. The sessions are designed to introduce children to basic electronic circuits in a fun and interactive way, fostering curiosity and a love of experimentation.
Ms. Doha Mahboub, Director of Maadi Public Library, added: "At Maadi Public Library, we are committed to offering innovative educational activities that combine learning and fun, helping children discover their scientific abilities at an early age."
