Helwan Children’s Library, affiliated with the Misr Society for Culture and Community Development, welcomed a student visit from Saint Mary School as part of a series of educational and recreational activities aimed at developing children’s skills and stimulating their scientific imagination and creativity.
The visit featured a rich and engaging program that began with a puppet theater performance, which delighted the students and created an atmosphere of joy and interaction.
The program also included participation in a “Treasure Hunt” competition, combining fun with challenge, along with a set of cultural questions designed to test students’ general knowledge in an engaging and simplified manner. In addition, a variety of group games were organized to promote teamwork and cooperation among participants.
The activities were held under the supervision of Ms. Hiam Abdel Aal, Financial Officer, and Ms. Reda Ahmed, Activities Coordinator, alongside Ms. Nermeen Nabil and Ms. Hanaa Hanna representing Saint Mary School.
In this context, Ms. Iman Abdel Haq, Director of Helwan Children’s Library, stated that welcoming school visits is a top priority within the library’s cultural and recreational programs. She explained that these activities aim primarily to develop children’s skills and strengthen their passion for reading and knowledge.
She added that interactive activities such as puppet theater and cultural competitions play a vital role in building children’s personalities and expanding their imagination, emphasizing the library’s continuous commitment to cooperation with educational institutions to sustain its integrated cultural and educational mission.
